To lead our establishment in Denmark, we are looking for a commercially strong and relationship‑oriented Country Manager Denmark.
About the role
As Country Manager Denmark, you will have overall responsibility for establishing, leading and developing Hepro Care’s operations in Denmark. In the start‑up phase, the role will largely focus on further developing existing partnerships (other companies that already have solutions in the market), while at the same time building direct sales activities within selected segments and solutions. The position reports to the Group CEO of Hepro Group.
Areas of responsibility and key tasks
Partner development and commercial collaborations
- Further develop existing partners and distributors in Denmark – ensure shared goals, clear agreements and close follow‑up.
- Analyse and optimise the partner portfolio; identify where and how existing partners can grow.
- Identify and negotiate with new potential partners where this strengthens distribution and market access.
- Ensure that partners have the necessary sales skills, product knowledge and support to succeed.
Direct sales and market development
- Build and drive own sales activities within defined segments.
- Proactively approach new customers, conduct meetings, demonstrations and presentations.
- Participate in and lead major sales and tender processes in collaboration with resources in Hepro Group.
- Contribute to positioning Hepro Care as a relevant and credible player within care technology in the Danish market.
Market and business development
- Analyse the market, trends and needs within care technology in Denmark, and translate this into concrete priorities and actions.
- Identify new business opportunities, niches and concept areas – both through partners and through own initiatives.
- Provide feedback on product and solution needs based on insight from customers and partners.
Operational establishment and operations
- Contribute to building a local organisation over time (sales, first‑line support) in line with growth.
- Ensure good routines for follow‑up of customers and partners, including coordination with technical support and delivery resources in the Nordics.
- Ongoing reporting on sales, pipeline, partner status and market situation to the Group CEO.
The position has process ownership for its respective processes.
Qualifications
Education and experience
- Higher education in business, sales/marketing, technology or equivalent. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
- Experience from commercial roles such as Country Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar.
- Documented experience in developing and following up partners/distributors, combined with direct sales.
- Experience from the health and care sector, care technology, medtech, telecare/telehealth or related industries is a clear advantage.
- Strong understanding of the local health and care sector is highly desirable.
Language and systems understanding
- Fluent Danish, both oral and written.
- An understanding of Scandinavian languages is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Strong digital skills and experience with CRM and sales support systems.
